- Who is The Green Collar for?
- Justice-affected men and women across Australia — including people leaving jail or institutional care, NDIS participants, and anyone with a criminal record looking for a fair shot at employment.
- Do I need a referral?
- No. Call 1300 351 651 or email stu@thegreencollar.com.au and we'll talk through next steps.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on how your engagement is arranged. If you're referred through a Job Network provider there's usually no cost to you. For individualised one-to-one support there may be a fee based on what you need. Either way, we'll tell you clearly before you agree to anything.
- Are you a recognised social enterprise?
- Yes. The Green Collar is Social Traders Certified — an independently verified Australian social enterprise. We work alongside Job Network providers and partner employers.
- Can employers work with you?
- Yes — see the Partners & ecosystem page or call us to discuss roles open to second-chance hiring.
- Do you work outside Victoria?
- Peer support and online sessions run Australia-wide. Placements depend on partner employers in your area — call to find out what's realistic where you live.
