Providing a Bridge to Employment
No $ Cost To Join Our Team, just a few wrong turns in life is all.
Our work is 100% self funded and helps justice affected men and women to find purpose, connection and employment.
Each week we volunteer through the Green Collar Brigade to assist community bodies including churches and thrift shops to get the work done they require.
On a weekly basis we run online Zoom sessions to assist our community to find support, stay clean and connect with other men and women fsacing similar challenges.
With key alliances with recuitment agencies (Transcend Group, Woods and Co and SMAART) and Job Services providers, we assist in finding suitable employment for our cohort.
The Green Collar has partnered with WISE Employment and many others, running a peer support service for justice affected men, to assist them overcome society stigmas, become motivated and better prepared to re-enter the workforce. Designed specifically to find meaning and purpose and achieve sustainable reintegration.

The Green Collar assists job seekers to build a bridge from their current circumstances to gainful employment. We run a wrap around service, which means we work closely with legal institutions and medical service providers and offer an wholistic and practical program - with a goal to finding employment.
*We also now offer personalised one-to-one mentoring for suitable men and women*
Our employment support offers ex-jail, or similar institutions with a meaningful toolkit to finding work and more importantly, purpose. We understand the issues you may be facing from mental health, to regret and fear around how employers will view your application. Our team have been there and will show you ways to overcome typical obstacles. We work closely with various employers, NFP's and Program Managers in the Reintegration space.
If something has led to problems with the law, or prevented you, we are perfectly designed to assist. We are specialists, especially, with drug or alcohol misue issues. Our team are all ex offenders, or have struggled with legal issues along their journey and have managed to get clean get our careers back on track. We can help you on your journey, or struggles with substance use, with a range of resources and assistance.
Fair Threads is a service run company, byt Luke Anderson, Lived Experience Champion. They are finalising Corrections Clothing Service - a web based clothing retail store that sources prison compliant clothing categorised to meet the requirements for each prison.
Reboot Australia was started by Anthony and Jobe Macshane as a program and service to help men and women leaving jails find employment. They work with a number of employers and are a necessary part of the puzzle.
A leafer in employing men and women coming out of jail, or with a criminal background. Winner of multiple awards for the good work they do across Australia, they are a Not For Profit Social Enterprise offering transitional employment and very well regarded:
Jacob Little and his Dad began this Nationwide support service to assist those coming out of incarceration with the tools to seek justice where systemic sexual or institutional abuse has occurred. One of the key advocates for justice and reform they are well worth meeting:
