Stu Holmes

Founder & Program Lead

Stu Holmes is the founder of The Green Collar and a passionate advocate for second chances, workforce inclusion, and social justice.

Drawing on both senior recruitment industry experience and lived experience of overcoming addiction, incarceration, and significant personal challenges, Stu understands firsthand the barriers many people face when rebuilding their lives.

He works closely with participants, employers, and support services to create pathways into employment, community connection, and long-term wellbeing.

His belief is simple: everyone deserves the opportunity to find purpose, contribute meaningfully, and build a future they can be proud of.

Through The Green Collar, Stu is committed to helping people rediscover their strengths, overcome barriers, and become the best version of themselves.

Paul Hunter

Manager — The Green Collar Brigade

Paul has years of experience in the construction industry, from domestic builds through to bigger $36 million projects. He has also been fortunate enough to have maintained gardens at some of Australia's premier resorts, and has a real passion for gardening — spending his free time pottering in his own.

He has battled with drugs and alcohol resulting in years of incarceration. He has real empathy for others' struggles, and through volunteering, helps to boost self-esteem, helping others, working as a team, and making a difference in the community.

Cam Beveridge

Program Coordinator

Cam has been with The Green Collar since he first completed the program in 2022. He has been instrumental in seeing it evolve into a company who now directly assists in the employment and rehabilitation of people.

He has had his struggles with the justice system, but put his recovery first and The Green Collar second. He works with people, often recovering addicts first out of jail, to help them find peer support and often other necessities. Cam is a key member of both our volunteer work and our growth.

Adam

Program Coach

Adam is another one of The Green Collar's caring and client-focused men. With much lived experience in a previous life, he comes with empathy and understanding of the challenges associated with reintegration.

With a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, Adam has diverse professional experiences, including roles at one of the big four consulting firms and engagements in currency trading. His personal journey through significant challenges — including legal issues, addiction and incarceration — has fuelled his commitment to self-improvement and aiding others in similar situations.

As an active member of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and through his work in rehabilitation centres, Adam passionately advocates for recovery and the holistic betterment of individuals — mentally, physically, and spiritually. His efforts are dedicated to the power of resilience and the transformative impact of helping others.

Tim Brosnan

Associate Director

Tim is a practical, highly capable consultant who knows firsthand what it takes to navigate the challenges of the justice system and rebuild a career after incarceration. Rather than letting his past define him, Tim connected with The Green Collar to dust off his strong industry background and sharpen his skills with modern AI and digital tools.

Having successfully launched his own independent consultancy business, Tim joins us as Associate Director to help others find their own footing. He brings real-world resilience, solid professional expertise, and a deep understanding of the barriers people face post-release. Tim is focused on breaking down recruitment biases, mentoring peers, and showing that with the right mindset and support, everyone is capable of carving out a successful new path.

CK Pang

Program Coach — SE Melbourne

CK is one of the smartest and most caring members of The Green Collar. His lived experience doing some of the wrong things and prison led him to a life of the right things as a result of his rock bottom.

Multilingual in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Cambodian and Vietnamese — and a master of body language — CK can identify and relate to a broad range of people with mental health, addiction and life-after-jail issues.

CK has always been a business man, from owning bakeries, to car shops, to labour hire companies. He now spends his time assisting those in need and changing the direction of his life for the better. Hard working and skilled at almost everything, CK is an asset to the team.

Juri, a highly valued team member, is one of the very first staff members to have successfully completed The Green Collar Program with Outstanding Participation.

He has a strong affinity with First Nations communities and has been volunteering at various Not-For-Profit and community outreach organisations. His empathy for others and instinctual ability to offer support and strength is a testament to his character.

He has experience in construction and various other industries and has faced the struggles of homelessness, alcoholism and jail — and he's come through the other end a stronger and wiser man.

Our broader team

Coaches, mentors and volunteers — matched to you.

All Green Collar program staff are experienced in assisting other people to become the best versions of themselves. This includes experience in professions such as recruitment and social work, a history of being in jail or institutions, and most of us have faced substance abuse problems.

We've made a life beyond the trap we were in. We believe our personal struggles and our own journeys give us the lived experience to identify and relate to Green Collar Program participants. Our coaches are designated and specifically matched to participants based on individual circumstances.
